Is this your business?
Callled Clydes on Sat. morning and was told to bring my mower in as repairman was there until 5:00.Took my mower there @ 2:00 and repairman was gone for the day. The kid said to leave it anyway as Clyde could probably be able to take the blade off. The bolt was stripped and I was unable to get the blade off myself so I had this lovely experience at Clydes.
The blade on this mower was replaced with a new blade provided by the customer. Before doing so the stripped out blade bolt needed to be filed down to a smaller size and then replaced with a new bolt. The machine was unable to be started, the diagnosis was a fouled plug & old oil.All original parts were returned to the customer, including the old blade. The charges were as follows: 1-3/8 blade bolt $1.25, 1qt oil sae 30- $1.50 1- J19LM spark plug $3.95 - 45min labor $37.50 for a total charge with tax of $48.07 The charges for the additional items were minimal and it is not our policy to return a machine not fully functioning. Clyde attempted to convey this with the customer but the only concern was the $48 charge. Unfortunately we could not get past the price, for this i am sorry, but we must clarify the machine was repaired properly and not damaged as claimed. Thanks, Clydes
I just called Clydes for the first. I was looking for egg laying chickens. The women who answered the phone was slightly rude and I felt like I was a bother to her for having called.
At Clydes Feed we happen to have several poultry specialists on staff. In this particular case the customer was informed that that person was out of the store at the time, but that he could call them back. The customer wanted an immediate response to their question to which the clerk attempted to answer. I deeply regret that this person felt this way, and i encourage them to please give us another try. Thanks, Clydes
For Farm Animals to pets of all kinds - care and feeding and supplies- the expected AND the unique, there is no better store in Western New York, in my mind.
